This custom off-road vehicle has just finished construction and delivery. The owner mainly drives in the city daily and plans one long-distance overland trip every year. We focused on practicality and reliability instead of stacking popular cosmetic kits blindly.
Owner’s requirements
1. 70% daily city commute, 30% off-road travel
2. No big lift, keep factory electronic system stable
3. Improve shock absorption on rough trails and strengthen underbody protection, extend fuel range
4. Control total vehicle weight to avoid sharp fuel consumption increase
Build Parts Selection
– Minor upgraded adjustable shocks to improve ride comfort on unpaved roads while keeping original chassis geometry
– AT all-terrain tires for quiet highway drive and grip on rocky trails
– Lightweight magnesium-aluminum skid plate to protect gearbox and oil pan, reduce front weight compared with manganese steel
– Auxiliary fuel tank for long-distance fuel supply
– A-pillar auxiliary lights for night trail use, fully waterproof wiring to prevent interference with factory radar
Construction & Delivery
We fully protect original wiring during installation. After assembly, wheel alignment and full road test are completed to verify ABS and ACC systems without fault codes.
We provide pre-trip and post-trail vehicle checklist on delivery, remind the owner to recheck chassis bolts and skid plate after every off-road trip.
The core of modification is not exaggerated appearance, but matching the owner’s real travel scenario. Build a stable and reliable rig with reasonable budget.
